Love can be found in even the most empty moments & despair can be found in even the brightest lights, either way. Hope wins. No matter the story, we can only use what we have even if it is one tethered square...
This painting is merely a moment before hope pulls me up, light guides me, & I stand filled with gold. The illusion is when we sit still & focus on the things missing, instead of seeing all the light surrounding us. We are the makers, we are in charge of the future, we do this in the small moments. We are the deciders of how we choose to see what comes our way. Moving house, a lawyer bill, a family no more, a lover departs, or a loyalty broken... We need not worry about the actions in the outside world. We can choose to be our true light without fear, even with only one tethered square remaining...I will rise & so will you.

Originally from Adelaide, I have lived in Daylesford, Victoria for the last 6 years. I am the owner & creator of The Empress & Wolf and have designed a few different products to promote the message that was given to me in a dream - “To Inspire & Empower.” It is my deepest passion to lead by example and free the world of silly pigeonhole thinking, everyone deserves the opportunity to fully express their being without being pressured to alter or hold back.
