“My Paw My Heart My Ideas – I Pour My Heart Into My Ideas”

I wanted to paint a piece that showed all the things that are important to me; my dog Alfie who kept my soul warm, my heart who is at times leading me astray, and my ideas. These are all the things I value most.
The light globes represent original thought and all the ideas that are seen by my inner eye. My love for light globes can easily be seen as they show up in so many different sketches and paintings. I painted a paw on my left hand showing my connection to my totem animal the wolf, and my dog Alfie. Finally my heart, protected and held close to my body.
About The Artist
Originally from Adelaide, I have lived in Daylesford, Victoria since 2009. I am the owner & creator of The Empress & Wolf and have designed a few different products to promote the message that was given to me in a dream - “To Inspire & Empower.” It is my deepest passion to lead by example and free the world of silly pigeonhole thinking, everyone deserves the opportunity to fully express their being without being pressured to alter or hold back.
