“Limits Of Self”  By Elicia Ward

Einstein: "Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."

If only I worked hard enough, pleased enough people, created enough success, I WOULD be good enough, smart enough, loved, have approval & be recognised as equal to those around me. That was a total waste of effort. Had I known I was this fish I would have changed my game play completely.

Turns out I’m not stupid, or weird, I’m wired different. I tormented myself trying to be what I could never be, competing against unbeatable odds. It’s nice to have a diagnosis to take a bit of pressure off.

Always in search of the ‘me’ before the wreckage of uneducated opinions were pierced into my consciousness, paralysing my choices… I’m at a new level of discovery.

This undiagnosed ‘trauma’ I’ve carried with me all my life not only caused me to stay anchored to a true killer of dreams, but also stole my ability to respond appropriately to the warning signs & dangers.

I’m going to radiate for the rest of my life, showing the truth of all I am. No longer will I deny the truth of me for fear of judgements from the world. The remainder of my life will be spent with more authentic souls that actually hold intelligence, that are inspiring to be around.

We make weak people famous and that is a deep sickness in society. The strong, unique independent thinkers are then chastised, & punished for stepping outside the norm.

Whose world is this? It’s certainly not mine.

Your status badge is best used as a paper weight in my presence because no one holds authority over me, except me.
